Anyone know whether alpha invitees will get a pack like last year? There will be. Ramone mentioned it at the stream before Xmas... Ive found it posted here recently. I'll post a link when I find it.I got a alpha invite, booted the game up fo MLB The Show 21 Stubs like 10 minutes but didn't really play any games. Think I will be included still?

Hi everyone... this is probably going to seem dumb for many of you, but here it goes :I'm looking at'19 to be the very first baseball game I own. Only played a ('15?) Demo back in the afternoon and never really had a console or the time. Now I have both my question is:It's just a $10 difference for the routine into the MVP edition... are the bonuses considerably different? Do I even need the bonuses at all or it's to simply get stronger faster? Where can I see more on this?Like I said, I have only played one demo match years ago, I don't have any clue what some of the bonuses mean or why would I want them. I'm very likely to do a pre-order, just would like to know if I should just save the $10 and use them for something different.

Hey guy: I am an old vet in this game. Been playing every year it's existed. For a beginner like you, just get the cheapest standard version then figure out what you like. All of these stubs, packs, etcare things you can purchase in game if you really feel like it-- none of them are necessary to enjoy the sport. And honestly, by June/July, the value of a stub will be better by then, as in-game costs are always inflated in the start bc of everyone's bonus $.

Thanks a lot! Standard it is! Really your explanation of inflated costs gave me the best idea of how the marketplace works... it will be an enjoyable ride.Mandatory noob question: 19 will enhance over 18, right? Can I never lose much by just playing with my initial with 19?

The sport is quite good at rewarding user skill level, and with regular playing, you will easily be able to compete with many online players. While individuals with this sub like to talk trash about the sport, the truth isthe devs are constantly attempting to eliminate competitive exploits. I have been mostly pleased with the games evolution over the last 7yrs. I hope that they can fix bunting mechanics this year. That stated, my favorite feature of the sport is that the pay to play facets of diamond dynasty. It'll be hard to field a highly competitive team with investing extra $$-- it is possible for cheap MLB 21 the show stubs those who grind, but only if you do. Otherwise expect to need additional $25-$50 to acquire some gold/diamond level players. My just wish is that somehow I'm ready to get my father (65yo) to the match. I will need to become a specialist myself... I'll be happy to get it done.
