Through the course of this page, we'll walk you through the steps necessary to complete the Altus Tunnel quest.  You will also receive any additional information, such as item drops and the location of the event, in addition to the walkthrough.

When and where is the Altus Tunnel located? What is the best method of transportation to the Altus Tunnel?

The Altus Tunnel is located on the Altus Plateau, directly south of the Minor Erdtree and directly south of the Minor Erdtree.  The Altus Tunnel is directly south of the Minor Erdtree.  Directly south of the Minor Erdtree, you'll find the Altus Tunnel.  However, despite the fact that it is located just southeast of the Forest-Spanning Greatbridge, the entrance is located at a lower elevation than the Greatbridge, which makes cheap XBOX Elden Ring Runes impossible to descend directly after passing through it.  One must first descend the bridge remains to the north before turning around and continuing straight south until one reaches the tunnel's entrance.  To get to the Greatbridge from here, one must first descend the bridge remnants to the north before turning around and continuing straight south.

Begin your descent with the opening lift and make your way down the ledges, paying no attention to them because they contain nothing of importance to you.  After passing through the Site of Grace, make your way out to the first fork in the path to the right and continue on.  Alternatively, you can enter through the smaller wooden doorway and defeat the miner mage and flying Marionette adversaries there instead. . A Smithing Stone 5, which also contains a Rune Arc, can be found in the corner of this room, hidden behind some wooden rubble.  There is also a treasure chest in this room that contains a  Arc.

After leaving the room through the larger doorway and returning to the outside of the room, you will find yourself in front of two more wooden doors on the left side of the room.  Remove the miner mage from this location before continuing on to the small doorway to the south, which will serve as the next stop on the journey to the north.  Remove the three crystal snails that are guarding a collection of Crystal Darts and Cracked Crystals that can be found along the walls of this room, and then clear the entire room of its contents.  Following your successful completion of the adjacent side rooms, continue forward into the larger mining area to complete your mission.

Before attempting to engage any of the miners on the ground level at this mining site, it is necessary to eliminate all three flying Marionette adversaries.  As soon as the Cracked Crystals and Smithing Stones 5 that have been scattered throughout the room have been dealt with, you will be able to collect them.  Upon reaching the upper level, you will come face to face with another flying Marionette and a miner mage, as well as a Somber Smithing Stone 5 along the right-hand wall, as well as an Arteria Leaf at the end of this elevated buy Elden Ring items.

Return to the bottom of the stairs and look for an opening to the south that leads out to a large chasm on the right with a Crystal Snail resting in front of a Golden Rune 7 on the other side.  Then, once again, return to the bottom of the stairwell and look for a doorway to the south that leads out to an expansive chasm with a small wooden platform on the right that contains a Crystal Snail in front of the Golden  7.  When you get to the bottom of the stairs, look for an opening to the south that leads to a large cavern with a small wooden platform on the right that has a Crystal Snail sitting in front of a Golden  7.  Retrace your steps back to the open mining area and head eastward until you reach a passage with glowing walls, nine total Crystal Snails, another Smithing Stone 5 on the right, and a wooden door at the end.  As soon as you have completed this task, return to the open mining area and proceed eastward until you reach a passage with glowing walls and nine total Crystal Snails on the right, as well as another Smithing Stone 5 to your right and a wooden door at the end of the passage.  You have the option of eliminating the Crystal Snails before proceeding through the final wooden door and up against two Crystalian bosses if you so desire.
